It’s been a crazy few weeks since I last posted. A month has passed since I moved to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Slowly but surely, everything is falling into place. I am starting to feel more and more at ease with my new life here but I am still exploring and discovering every day exciting new locations. This city definitely has so much more to offer in terms of lifestyle and culture... Trust me, I have never been so inspired! I cannot describe to you all the new spots I accidentally stumble upon, all the unvisited restaurants on my hit list and local designers I have clear my wardrobe out for! I have therefore decided to share with you all my favourite spaces and places in town and make you part of my new inspirational experience here!

Today, I am very excited to return with a brand new look and a photo series of images inspired by the French drama movie “L’Amant” (The Lover). A story of a passionate and secret adventure between a young French girl and an older Chinese man in Indochina in the 1920s. To be honest, the concept started when I discovered by chance this secret oasis in the heart of the city: Nguyen Du Park Villas is a landmark building in terms of hybrid design. The architecture of the building evokes the feeling of “Paris meets Saigon”: with a majestic sweeping central staircase and wide covered walkways flanked by lush tropical gardens, as soon as you arrive at the open reception you feel immediately transported back to a foregone french colonial era. All the dramatic and elegant imagery of the movie came back to me. This is it! I fell in love with the place and couldn't resist sharing it with you! I can't help thinking Nguyen Du Park Villas my very own little french heaven in town.

Saigon is hiding so many beautiful places behind the street facades of the congested busy roads full of crazed motobikes and endless motor horns. I  think I'm starting to get butterflies... Am I falling in love with the city? Time will tell if it's just a fling or a life long love but I am definitely smitten and can't wait to share with you all my discoveries. Will the love affair continue?!? Find out soon @ iminhtouch.

Special thanks to Mr Mark Acree from Nguyen Du Park Villas for letting me shoot in this exotic and so exclusive location perfectly matching the French colonial styling. Also to Mr Luis Antonio Torres, Creative Director of Massimo Ferrari for the two exquisite jaw dropping dapper looks!
